GUATEMALA: Publisher sentenced to one year in prison
The Writers in Prison Committee of International PEN (WiPC) protests the one-year prison sentence and fine handed down to publisher Raúl Figueroa-Sarti on 6 August 2009 for alleged copyright infringement. Figueroa is currently under house arrest and there are concerns for his safety. Tengo como información de que en Argentina, pero quizás en otros países también, existen aun tiendas de fotografías con respuestos para Leica y lentes Leitz. Tengo precisamente un Sumilux 35 mm 1,4 con el cristal frontal bastante rayado lo que me impide usarlo con una Leica M8. Cambiándole solamente este cristal me saldría mucho mas barato. Quizás alguno de ustedes conozca una de estas tiendas y podría comunicarme los datos (correo electrónico y tels)

Salvadoreña gana premio mundial de fotografía
“Esa era la foto y no podía dejar de tomarla”
Lissette Lemus ganó con una fotografía inédita el primer lugar en la categoría “Vida cotidiana” del concurso World Press Photo. El retrato de la vida diaria que captó fue el de unos niños con los ojos abiertos clavados en el cadáver de una mujer.
